Deposit Refund Policy
Deposit Refund Policy
The BSc in Accounting and Finance applies strict selection criteria for its prospective students, especially when a Student Visa is involved. In the unlikely event of a visa refusal, the student will be initially admitted online until any appeal process is through, thus mitigating the risk for the student of missing the beginning of an academic year. For the Academic Year 2025-2025, a maximum of 25% of the fees paid to the University of Macedonia will be retained in case of a deposit refund request. No refund will be provided, among others, for visa refusals due to fraudulent or incomplete applications, association with illegal activities, proven criminal record or failure to attend a visa appointment. For any other case of deposit refund request, the Programme Committee has the authority to decide on a one-by-one basis.
Please note that refund applications should be sent by email to the Secretariat of the BSc in Accounting and Finance (info.accfin@uom.edu.gr).
